Prep time: 15-20 mins
500g prawns deveined (tails on optional)
½ red onion chopped
1 tsp. crushed garlic
4 tbsp. rich dark soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
¼ cup sweet hot chili sauce
½ cup of water
1. Rinse prawns with the orange, rinse off, sprinkle 1/2 tsp of Marlaina’s Premium Jerk Seasoning over prawns and set aside
2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and combine with a wooden spoon
3. Place prawns into the mixture and leave for 10-20mins in the fridge
4. For steam fry heat pan extra hot add a ¼ cup of water, add the marinade and let that steam for 5 minutes. Add your prawns until cooked to your liking, (this is also quick).
OR cook on the stovetop or pour straight onto BBQ
Will cook quickly
When using a BBQ cook in small batches.
Add prawns at the end and serve immediately remember they continue to cook.
